Rotary raises between $50,000 and $60,000 for Salvation Army. If you ever get tired of the ubiquitous red kettle solicitation that starts before Thanksgiving, know that funds raised in this way (outside of mail-in response) stay locally. It is heart warming to see people of limited means (presumably) put a few coins in and to hear testimonies about how a member was helped by the
